I love how the video displayed the practical teachings that were applicable to everyday life. I feel that many students often forget that many of the lessons being taught in the classrooms lay the foundation for their futures, no matter what career path they choose. As the world evolves and changes, so should education and the ways we teach our students. I feel that we haven't seen a more significant change in education, because there is resistance to learning a new method of teaching for many teachers. Ironically, there are a lot of educators who are stuck in their traditional teaching methods and choose to do what is easier for them as teachers, rather than what is best for the students. As an educator who has been in the classroom for seven years, I have unfortunately crossed paths with veteran teachers and even novice teachers who refuse to learn technology because it takes work to learn. That's the job. Educators are expected to continue to be students and learn, reflect, and adjust constantly. That’s the job!
